We are working on a character description of The Wild Things. In this lesson we worked collaboratively to describe their appearance and personality. We came up with some excellent adjectives such as aggressive, mischievous and rough. This week we will use these fantastic words to describe our very own Wild Thing.
This half term in Geography we have been looking at the seven continents and five oceans of the world.
This week we had a focus on Europe and its biggest country- France! To get a real feel for the culture we sampled some traditional French food- baguette, Brie, croissants, pain au chocolate and chocolate milk.
This half term we are studying ‘The Lonely Beast’. In this writing lesson we made Beast masks and re-enacted the story using actions.
Definitely some budding actors in this class!!
Last Friday we created this master piece in celebration of Holi Festival, which is tradionally celebrated in India to welcome the spring.

The children also enjoyed spending lots of time out in the sunshine!
Over the past three weeks we have been working on a space picture in our art lessons.
We started off by painting a rocket, we then collaged planets using coloured tisssue paper and splatted white paint for the stars. We finished it off with some gold and silver glitter. They looked fabulous!!
