Working collaboratively

We are working on a character description of The Wild Things. In this lesson we worked collaboratively to describe their appearance and personality. We came up with some excellent adjectives such as aggressive, mischievous and rough. This week we will use these fantastic words to describe our very own Wild Thing.

French food tasting

This half term in Geography we have been looking at the seven continents and five oceans of the world.

This week we had a focus on Europe and its biggest country- France! To get a real feel for the culture we sampled some traditional French food- baguette, Brie, croissants, pain au chocolate and chocolate milk.

Say cheers…

Space art

Over the past three weeks we have been working on a space picture in our art lessons.

We started off by painting a rocket, we then collaged planets using coloured tisssue paper and splatted white paint for the stars. We finished it off with some gold and silver glitter. They looked fabulous!!

Owls!!

Our current piece of writing is a fact file all about owls. So what better way to learn about this nocturnal creature than to do a spot of role play!

Panda class learnt some facts about different species of owls before designing their own owl masks. They then took in turns to play the owl and answer questions from their curious classmates.
